Content Manager
CurrentAs a member of Meta’s Product Content Operations team, I work across the company’s content ecosystem and use content knowledge and technical skills to define and set content standards for what should be shown to users on Meta’s platforms.Projects I work on include:-- Identifying high-quality content and training machine-learning algorithms and AI to amplify content. -- Engaging in content moderation by leading a team of 14 team members who review hundreds of Facebook posts every day to assess whether they are in violation of the company’s recommendations policies.-- Writing and stress testing guidelines.-- Compiling a weekly data report detailing how content reviewed or curated by the team performs on Meta’s platforms.-- Analyzing guidelines used to review content to help identify gaps, shortcomings and contradictions.-- Leading detailed content reviews that offer editorial analysis and insights.-- Improving the quality of content in Facebook’s In-Feed Recommendations.-- Developing a training curriculum used to onboard and train 30 new team members over the past year.-- Creating a training task force which identifies the team’s training needs, improves team alignment and aligns decision consistency.-- Testing content for originality on Instagram.-- Curating Reels content (for both Facebook and Instagram) tied to specific themes and moments.-- Supporting creators on Facebook via auditing the Creator Support Hub and suggesting improvements.
