For over 20 years, my diverse background has included accounting leadership, financial planning & analysis, ERP implementations consulting (in the public accounting sector) and for nearly a decade as CFO for St. Christopher Holdings and DC Partners, a boutique real estate development firm.As Managing Director of St. Christopher Holdings, I work with Roberto Contreras, a well respected Houston entrepreneur, to lead our private equity group forward, with several ventures, with an eye on risk management and return on capital, in multiple industries such as mortgage banking, food manufacturing, and now returning to surfacing material applications.Moderno Porcelain Works, is a venture, I partnered with Roberto and several other industry veterans, revolutionizing the surfacing market with large-format porcelain slabs, on multiple residential and commercial applications. Started in 2018, my involvement in the leadership team included developing an end-to-end ERP solution to organize CRM activity, operations, accounting/finance, and asset management, into a single-Microsoft-driven, solution.My overall industry experience includes private equity leadership, luxury real estate condo/hotel development, residential mortgage banking, stone fabrication and retail distribution, land development, credit card portfolio service and water utilities.I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and hold a MBA in Accounting. I am certified in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Jet Reports and was previously a licensed loan officer in the mortgage industry. I also have passed the Green Belt Certification course at the University of Houston College of Technology.On the personal side, I have been an adaptive athlete for over 20 years and I am passionate about getting disabled athletes into sport. For the past 5 years I have contributed and participated in board positions for both Achilles Houston and Bee Abled, and donated several pieces of adaptive skiing equipment to Telluride Adaptive Sports Programs. I believe in not wasting a moment in life and push hard to help others achieve their dreams, without considerations to their perceived limitations.
