Stormwater Maintenance Manager, Water Field Operations
Current- Manages and directs the Stormwater Maintenance Division, responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and construction of improvements to the utility- Responsible for providing project management for all aspects of construction, operations, maintenance, and safety of all field personnel - Develops strategic plans and the division’s annual budget based on the goals and growth objectives of the division - Responsible for budget preparation and administration for Operations and Maintenance, Fleet Equipment, and Capital Projects- Manages asset data collection & work orders, and prepares detailed reports of all work activities in Maximo. - Evaluates, purchases, and writes specifications for all equipment, products, and materials- Makes personnel assignments, determines work projects, oversees & reviews ongoing projects, and plans divisional activities - Provides leadership, interpretation, and guidance regarding Federal, State, and City policies and safety regulations- Participates in a steering committee for the Colorado water agency response network (COWARN)- Active in flood response, snow operations, and other incident command system (ICS) events- Participates in Budgeting for Outcomes (BFO) Results Teams and Budget Offer preparation - Represents the City on the Pleasant Valley, Arthur, and Sherwood Irrigation Ditch Company boards
