I was the SME for a tool called MDR (Monitoring Data Repository) and I'm also responsible for providing consultancy for all the automation efforts inside the team.

I have worked as an Automation developer, creating solutions to automate manual business processes among different areas of the company and in addition, I was also responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) environment globally.I have worked with lots of different technologies, developing solutions and integrations (through CLIs, APIs and Web Services) for the various products on Dell's environment. I mainly used PowerShell, Bash and Stored Procedures for development and also, for orchestration logging/stage control, I was using SQL Server Databases.My daily routine consisted of the following tasks:- SME for SCORCH automation platform;- Technical lead from Americas region, providing training and technical guidance to my teammates whenever necessary;- Technical consultancy on grooming meetings with business customers and Product Owner;- Point of contact for Monitoring Engineering team, being their main developer and technical reference for any new engagements related to their set of tools;- Development of automated solutions incoming from businesses engagements;- Development of integrations between SCORCH and other products.

Application Support Analyst on Monitoring Center's Readiness Team, responsible for ensuring that the applications under my scope had the correct monitoring coverage in place.I have worked with different types of monitor setup, from baseline monitors (OS, Hardware and Database) to custom monitors (Application). The monitoring tool's portfolio included Foglight, Zabbix, Dynatrace Gomez, BMC Portal, SCOM, OEM, Empirix, Nastel and more.My daily routine consisted of the following tasks:- SME for Zabbix monitoring application;- L3 support for Foglight monitoring application;- Design of web application's usage reports for business analysis;- Development of new type of monitors, in order to address gaps from the current set of monitoring tools;- Provide regular support and training to help L1/L2 team members lavarage their technical skills;- Strengthened relationships with the supported segments's leads;- Drive weekly meetings with support teams to gather information, design and implement new monitoring alerts that could help preventing major business outages;- Lead the automation initiatives inside Monitoring Center;- Development of incident management automations, helping L1 teams by removing manual and repetitive workload from their daily job.

Application Support Engineer responsible for supporting the Atlassian Development Tools Family, a set of applications designed for code collaboration and management. The products I had under my scope included FishEye, Crucible, Stash, BitBucket and Bamboo as well as integrating these tools with JIRA and Confluence. In addition, I also provided assistance for versioning tools, such as Perforce, Subversion, GIT and Mecurial. My daily routine consisted of the following tasks: - Provide installation guidance for customers;- Troubleshoot production issues performing a root cause analysis at the end of each engagement;- Assistance on advanced integrations with LDAP, MTA, Proxies, Web servers, Application Links (other Atlassian products) and Versioning tools;- Create, maintain and manage knowledge base articles;- Provide guidance and address usability questions/doubts on Atlassian's communities, in order to generate content that could prevent new incidents from being open.
