As the Vice President of Human Resources, I am responsible for providing the leadership, strategy, design, and execution of an organization's human resources philosophy, programs and initiatives. Designing and developing an end-to-end human resources function to deliver talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employee support services. I partner with leadership across the organization to provide human resources programs aligned with the organization's operational objectives, mission, and values. We build and develop the teams and technology resources to facilitate regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, transaction processing, and analysis of workforce metrics. Functioning as an Executive Coach at times, I work with our leaders and teams to identify and overcome obstacles to success, while helping them develop leadership skills and abilities. We are always exploring trends in human resources to enhance the employee experience, increase employee engagement and employee retention, meet evolving organizational needs and create innovative programs.As the liaison for Zentis North America to our outside Legal Partner, I am responsible for keeping the company compliant on a broad range of business related topics. Our partner provides legal advice, interpretation, and guidance to me and other senior management members regarding contracts, state/federal regulatory requirements, intellectual property or trademark protection, and other business matters. They review all information and prepare defense for any legal actions against the organization and / or advises us on prosecuting lawsuits on behalf of the organization.In addition, as the VP of Information Technology, I am responsible for establishing and directing the strategic planning, implementation, and operation of our information technology department. I oversee the selection of hardware and software that will support current operations and accomplish long-term business objectives. We track technology trends and identifies new opportunities to enhance efficiency and gain a competitive advantage through our technology.
