Six Sigma Green Belts are employees who spend some of their time on process improvement teams. Coordinates activities of instructors engaged in training employees or customers of industrial or commercial establishment: Confers with managers, instructors, or customer's representative to determine training needs. Assigns instructors to conduct training. Schedules classes, based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors. Evaluates training packages, including outline, text, and handouts written by instructors. Assigns instructors to in-service or out-service training classes to learn new skills as needed. Attends meetings and seminars to obtain information useful to training staff and to inform management of training programs and goals. Monitors instructors during lectures to evaluate performance. Service, repair, troubleshoot and overhaul aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness: Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft systems and functional components. Adjust, align and calibrateaircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment suchas shears, precision measuring equipment, rivet gun, and drills.

Performs a variety of field and office duties to implement and maintain a comprehensive hazardous materials control, mitigation and response program; conducts inspections and investigations of facilities and sites where hazardous materials are stored and used; enforces appropriate regulations, codes and laws and acts as liaison with regulatory agencies; monitors results of ongoing activities to determine compliance with federal, state and local hazardous materials regulations.
