Leveraging public data sources to inform planning choices that improve the well-being of the communities in the Pioneer Valley. In addition to core duties overseeing the Pioneer Valley Data website and managing the underlying database, my work with PVPC has included expanding the PV Data website to highlight COVID-related data, and shaping PVPC's Economic Development Assistance CARES grant. I am also a member of the Hampshire/Franklin and Hampden County Workforce Board's data committee, providing expert-user feedback on the data and data-tools guiding the region's labor market blueprint.

Analysis of trends in the economy, with particular focus on the challenges facing working families as they strive to overcome barriers to economic prosperity. A central focus of my work is to communicate complex issues through data analysis and data visualization. I've been advising Community Action Agencies on how to leverage public data sources to better understand their communities and to better manage their organizations.

Ensuring adequate funding to meet the needs of Rhode Island's working families, and working towards economic justice and shared prosperity. In this role I worked with members of the Rhode Island Revenue Roundtable to explore options for revenue needed to advance the well-being of all Rhode Islanders. I also undertook research highlighting the status of working Rhode Islanders through several demographic lenses -- Rhode Islanders of Color, Rhode Island women, and Black Rhode Island families, working closely with the Rhode Island Racial Justice Coalition and the Women's Fund of Rhode Island
