Collaborate with Schenker’s Business Development and Product Management Teams in developing innovative value propositions and customer solutions.Gather and share with Schenker staff, verbally or in written form, pertinent market information and data on existing and prospective clients as well as on emerging industry trends and competitor activities.

-Manage, lead and develop strategic international ocean transportation clientele base consisting of both beneficial cargo owners and ocean intermediaries. -Supervision of global and regional requests for proposal under existing and potential new business opportunities.-Maintain and manage the account base supported by daily business development throughout a defined sales territory. -Develop and confirm on-going budget increases, support strategies and initiatives through collaboration to ensure effectiveness and results. -Maintain operational execution through a comprehensive on-boarding process.-Implement and monitor quality of established and agreed to KPI’s for consistent results in meeting client expectation and growth.-Manage by exception where required with all involved parties through review and/or dispute resolution.On-going reporting / business reviews to ensure internal and external business development and commitments are being achieved.

-Overall account management of existing clients for ocean, air, customs, po/order management and domestic transportation. -Continually seek improvement in sales goals, procedures and compliance to create more efficient and effective operations for both international and domestic interests. -Research and implement cost savings within Expeditors International and our clientele through hard and soft cost avoidance. Design, enhance and manage operational procedures for the benefit of both, Expeditors International and core clientele.-Ensure operational execution through written instruction (SOP).-Establish and maintain performance metrics. Establish and direct all reporting to evaluate operational performance and trends over time. -Facilitate cooperation with all parties involved to support cohesive and efficient operations to increase business and revenue.
