My coworkers call me “Mom”, and I like to think that I have earned it.In my three years as a Manager at Lazy Dog, Restaurant & Bar, I have worked to become aperson they feel they can come to when they have problems that need to be fixed. I encouragestaff to be candid with me when they have concerns or are struggling. There is always somethingI can do to support someone, even if it’s just lending an ear.As a Manager for Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, I get to combine several of my passions; meetingnew people and team development. One of the most rewarding aspects of my career so far hasbeen training staff members on our company culture. I take pride in making a positive impact onas many people I interact with over the course of my career.Through my experiences I have developed creative problem-solving and organizational skills. Iactively use these skills to quickly identify issues or errors and swiftly implement effectivesolutions before any problems arise. I am an idea guy, but I also have the skills to execute myideas. I don’t like to settle, and will instead work problems over until I find solutions that willlead me to my eventual goals. I find challenges exciting, and I enjoy the satisfaction that comeswith completing new projects.When I am not at work, I spend my free time playing video games, spending time with my cat,eating spicy foods, and saving the citizens of Riften from nefarious invaders with my Dungeons& Dragons guild.
