Support the general needs of the department of Biochemistry / Molecular Biology. Provide administrative assistance to the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences as well as various courses throughout the DO program. Perform and present academic research with the Department of Geriatrics. Participate in the introduction of new teaching methods to the institution.

Performed research for Chamber's publications, online newsletter, and special internal and external projects. Assisted Chamber members with their marketing needs. Used databases to track sales and member statistics.

Tested, tracked, and released all product batches. Controlled and maintained all documentation in accordance to ISO guidelines. Completed training in oligonucleotide synthesis and purification.

Assisted the Biologics Annual Review team in completing their FDA commitment. Compiled release and in-process data, produced SPC charts, and reviewed manufacturing excursions, changes, and investigations. Provided departmental computer support, developed competency-based training modules, trained new team members, and programmed new graphing utility.

Harmonized worldwide labeling standards within Drug Regulatory Affairs and International Regulatory Post Marketing Operations. Prepared master compliance documents and tracked distribution through medical and scientific review processes. Evaluated local texts in affiliate nations and implemented computerized project status system.

Conducted validation project to determine equivalence between two vaccine production methods. Evaluated both archived and in-process test samples.

Screened mitogenic compounds using cell-based assay. Maintained several cell lines, handled radioisotopes, and programmed computer-controlled robots. Also assisted researchers in monoclonal antibody production.

Supported Quality Control group in development and validation of analytical immunochemical assays.

Developed novel technology for protease characterization. Employed enzymological evaluation of immobilized peptide arrays and robotic assay systems. Generated papain assay to screen compounds with cysteine protease activity. Also maintained drug-screen cell line to integrate robotic sequence analysis systems.

Researched the characterization of a high-affinity ATP receptor on the extracellular portion of the human platelet cell membrane.

Instructed biochemistry laboratory for medical students. Presented introductory lab materials, demonstrated techniques, answered student questions, and graded examinations.

Developed an assay to determine the relative mildness of new and existing bar soap formulations.
