Director, Nutrition & Applied Clinical Research: Obtain and implement Phase I - Post Market Surveillance Research clinical trials. Write and assist in the formation of Investigator-initiated research and private industry grants (pharmaceutical, medical device, foods, nutritionals). Further, manage the identification, evaluation, and development of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutritional prospects for new business opportunities specifically within the needs of the parent organization and alliances. Develop proposals and term sheets for prospects and manages the day-to-day aspects of closing, including negotiating Research Agreements and Budgets while also interacting with accounting, finance, human resources, legal and other functional areas for support services. Performs market research, analyzes new market opportunities and pursues new business opportunities. Organizes, tracks, documents and reports on the status of all prospects in the business development pipeline. Participates in the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy, including sales and presentation materials, marketing communications, and industry trade shows and conferences with the support of appropriate departments within the organization. Also participates in the development of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and alliances, as well as technology and intellectual licensing opportunities, with industry, academia and government agencies Organize cooperative trials with the GI, endocrinology, cardiovascular, neurosciences, rheumatology and psychology departments. Oversee ongoing clinical research. Supervise medical and allied health research staff (CCRC, CRC, RD, ARNP, etc.). Communicate with appropriate representatives of CSO, CRO and client companies. Prepare and write appropriate papers (posters, full-manuscripts) for conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Maintain proficiency in counseling and medical nutrition therapy skills (ENT/TPN, etc.).

Lead Sports Medicine team for athletic safety with the Professional fighters from the Blackzilians. Integrate with the other physiologists for athlete testing, interpretation of results, training programming and monitoring during fight camps. Athletes include UFC, WSOF, Titan FC, Bellator, boxers, basketball players and others.
