Provides supervision and leadership to the service center associates to ensure that they have the materials, resources, information, and direction needed to do their jobs and meet the Service Objectives. Responsible for associate development within their current positions and fostering the potential for promotion to positions of greater responsibility. Financials, Creates and manage service center budget. Monitors and drives revenue generation daily (via ADI Flash Revenue report and Open Service Request and/or Service Job Management downloads) to ensure staff are invoicing work-complete service requests consistently to meet monthly revenue goals. Monitors and controls expenses in Fixed and Variable Overhead accounts. Human Resources Maintains approved split of direct to indirect labor. Ensures the staff receives continuing training appropriate to their position. Ensures that each staff member is doing his/her job by routine audit. Provides direction to the staff as necessary to meet the Service Objectives. Administers corrective action when required, up to and including separation. Conducts annual performance evaluations for direct reports and review performance evaluations for technicians. Responsible for promoting positive morale that supports Altec’s values Customer Relations Call customers after completion of work to survey on their satisfaction. Represents Altec values at all times. Immediately escalate issues from customers to the appropriate Altec entity. Communicates solutions to customers. Develops and maintains new and existing customer relationships. Manages customer relations for the service territory for all aspects of the Altec Service Group Facility & Equipment Opens and closes service center, or assigning to responsible staff member. General facility maintenance and upkeep including shop tools. Maintain a facility compliant with OSHA regulations. Works with GESI to ensure compliance with Federal, State law
