Formed partnerships to design and implement biodiversity conservation programs: • with the BOLFOR Program achieved Forest Stewardship Council certification of 2.1 million hectares in Bolivia; • With the Wildlife Conservation Society assisted the Tacana Indigenous People to create a 325,000 ha indigenous territory. • With The Nature Conservancy, developed ecotourism in the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve that generated five times more funds for communities through park entrance fees than they received from the central government; funds were used to construct two health centers for some of Bolivia’s poorest citizens.
