Appointed Attorney-In-Fact by ACE USA as Surety with underwriting authority for all bonds through Westchester Fire Ins. Co. and Indemnity Ins. Co. of N. America (both Cigna cos). Products were sold directly to clients, and through ind. agencies, MGA’a, and nat'l brokers. Additional services: design, implementation, legal, compliance, rules, security and support. Negotiated and processed all claims for participating carriers through subrogation to final settlement.Coverages included all contingency products. Co-founder and Principal of SCA Promotions, Inc. and SIS Insurance (originally Sports Contest Association), a $40MM+ company which offers contingent prize reimbursement contracts for sponsors of promotional contests and sweepstakes. Responsible for actuarial assessment of probabilities for analyzing potential claims. Developed computerized programs and procedures for calculating expected payouts. Negotiated primary and reinsurance agreements with various underwriting facilities including American International Group and North American Reinsurance. Responsible as Chief Operating Officer for all company operations, budget and supervision of in-house staff of 60 employees. Developed product line and pricing schemes and negotiated commission terms with insurance agencies and brokers. Manuscripted all contracts and policies. Assisted in capitalization and licensing of Sports Prize Indemnity Ltd., a Cayman offshore insurance captive, exclusively for SCA. Responsible for all claims investigations and settlements. Designed and produced all marketing and advertising materials. Responsible for development of strategy and execution of promotions for SCA’s clients. Hired and trained all sales and marketing personnel.
