I show up early, have a passion for doing the best job that is possible, and I communicate with my coworkers to ensure we are all working as a team. I identify when I make mistakes, and I learn from them to perform better in the future. I can adapt and improvise when facing new challenges. All of my life experience has allowed me to grown into a person that can be highly successful at whatever I set my mind to. I work for CSX Transportation as a train dispatcher / rail traffic controller for territories in the United States and Canada. It can be a very challenging and busy job, but I enjoy doing it. I adapt well to fast paced environments with continuously changing variables. I love creating a plan and watching everything work out as I expected, and having a backup plan when situations change. I communicate consistently with train crews, maintenance of way, management, and all other pertinent company and outside employees to ensure our railroad runs as efficient and safe as possible. I also work in the Army Reserves as an air traffic controller, where I currently serving as the only airspace command and control manager for an organization of over 1,000 people. Previously, I was a full time air traffic controller in the United States Army. I worked hard and was promoted very quickly, and I also earned many awards. I learned how to quickly make plans and decisions in a fast paced and dynamic environment. I attained a wide assortment of leadership skills by working with small and large groups of people from all over the world. I also successfully completed Pathfinder School, one of the most mentally challenging schools the military has to offer.
