In August of 2016, Geniecast promoted Douglas Hall to Executive Vice President from his former role as Senior Vice President of Talent, Content & Experience. Hall, in his new role, leveraged 15 years of professional sales experience earned prior to joining Geniecast in September of 2015. In 2015, Hall was approached by Geniecast's executive board to oversee the content and talent team of the newly founded start-up. Operating as the company’s SVP of Talent, Content & Experience, Hall managed all talent acquisition and content initiatives to offer unique and innovative customer solutions and drive sales and marketing. He was responsible for the strategic planning and oversight around innovation, product development and maintenance of solutions and technologies for the business and was accountable for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with talent.

For over four years, Hall was the advisory Board Chair under the leadership of then Executive Director, Leona Plaugh. Together, Hall and Plaugh created an environment for the ethical exchange of resources, ideas and commerce within the live entertainment business community. Hall stepped down from his position shortly after Leona's passing in 2016.

Within the first 2 quarters of Hall assuming the role of Principal, his major operational changes reflected a drop in operating expenses of 60.6%. By the end of FY 2013 TPE boasted an 87% increase gross revenues as compared to the time of Hall's appointment. In his tenure, Hall built TalentPlus Entertainment from a local booking agency into a client-centric, full-service, international entertainment agency. He brokered licensing deals for casinos, programmed nationally acclaimed festivals, and negotiated millions of dollars worth of national talent buys.

In 2007, Hall was recruited by TalentPlus to utilize his expertise in talent buying, as well as production and promotion for public, corporate, casino and Non-Profit events. By early 2010 Hall’s development of TPE’s campus division, successful tour programming for brands/organizations such a Guinness (Diageo), Coke Zero (Coke Consolidated), and the US Army (IMCOM/G9), as well as his personal sales record made him the perfect candidate to lead the entertainment division.

New York native Douglas Hall relocated to St. Louis in 1993 to study at Webster University. During college, Hall earned a living as a venue manager and promoter. The 10 years following his education he mastered his craft as a promoter, venue manager/owner, and event consultant. Hall was notably responsible for the success of a number of key St. Louis entertainment venues including Velvet (voted one of the top 5 clubs in the USA by BPM magazine c.1999). Hall was a contributing partner to concert events including Washington Avenue Beat Festival.
