I’m currently leading the development of a health-tech solution that connects patients with care providers. Having joined the start-up at an early stage to direct product design, I’m now overseeing subsequent improvements and iterations. This involves leading a team of up to 18 international Software Developers and controlling an annual development budget. As the CTO, I work closely with clients and partners to scope requirements, resolve technical issues and identify potential product changes. I also stay informed on the tech landscape to identify opportunities and threats and to facilitate integrations with client systems. Key achievements in this role include:- Developed a concept into a viable, fully operational product, having managed the full end-to-end design and development process- Drove continuous product innovation, releasing 3 generations of the product to leverage new technology, make the product more accessible and engaging for users, and meet user requirements - Created a platform that reduced hospital stays by 42% for chemotherapy patients, enabled cardiac rehab treatment to continue remotely during lockdown, reduced anxiety for palliative care patients, avoided amputations through early intervention, and provided health education to 350,000 diabetes patients- Developed the platform behind 6 client awards, including the HSJ Patient Safety Award for Cancer Care and the Quality in Care Diabetes Award for “sustaining quality improvement and patient outcomes”
