Valleybrook is a producer and wholesaler of perennials, vegetables and succulents to retailers in North America. I manage the accounting team that is responsible for AR, AP, Payroll, and monthly financial statements and analysis. I have successfully maintained banking relationships, including arranging loans and leases and complying with covenant requirements. Our in-house production and sales management software had minimal reporting capabilities. Recognizing the need for operating reports and analysis, I developed customized reporting capabilities using SQL queries, Crystal Reports and Excel. As a management representative, I have performed investigations, developed strategy and negotiated resolutions to disputes and grievances with our unionized workers. I have actively contributed strategy and communication to 4 successful collective agreements. My role as network administrator and IT manager keeps me well connected with other team members in the company. I manage and forecast cash flow and prepare budgets, variance analysis, year end working papers and perform account reconciliations.

Doncaster/BC Medequip was a wholesaler and retailer of medical equipment and supplies. I was responsible for AR, AP, OE, collections and banking. Occasionally, I would serve customers in a retail sales capacity when needed.
