I currently teach:- Unit operations I and II for the chemical engineering and chemistry courses (since 2019);- Process modeling and simulation for the chemical engineering course; and- Integrated project I and II, Process planning and Plant design for the production engineering course (since 2017).Before 2019, I taught:- Control and Instrumentation and Process Modeling and Simulation for the chemical engineering course in 2010;- From 2012 to 2019, I taught Drafting and Design for the chemical engineering course;- From 2012 to 2019, Warehouse Management and Logistics for the business administration course;- In 2013, Reverse Logistics, International Logistics, and Cost Appropriation Systems for the post-grad course in Logistics;I have also tutored students in their graduation monographies, adding to a total of 70 monographies in the past 12 years. Itapeva is Brazil’s leading phyllite miner and sits among the 150 biggest mining companies in the country. They provide special mortars for civil construction. I legally represent the company before the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME), as well as accompany the company’s proceedings of mining titles before the Brazilian MME.

I worked as a coordinator for the Lions Youth Exchange Program in Brazil. We sent and received more than 1000 youngsters from all over the world.I traveled as part of the Program in 1997 to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. I also participated in all Youth Camp editions (2000 to 2009).

I worked as senior process engineer and project manager for Pöyry, in the Mining, Metals & Steelmaking business unit.

I started a managerial career as Director of Operations, looking for new projects and clients in the Americas.In Peru, we offered engineering and management services, as well as EPC, EPCM and turn-key implementation projects.Later on, I assumed a coordination role in Oil & Gas projects for the company in Brazil, as foreign operations were still developing.

I taught Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer Fundamentals, Physics I and Mass and Energy Balances for the Environmental Management, Food Processing and Chemical Engineering courses.

I developed process activities, such as process flow diagrams, equipment specifications and data sheets, plant start-up, plant ramp up, field inspections, and so on.I worked in the following projects: Onca Puma (basic engineering and EPCM), Petrobras delayed coker yard (feasibility study), Americano do Brasil Ni-Cu-Co concentration plant (plant start-up and ramp up), Tocantins FeNi project (EPCM), and Moa Occidental ferronickel project (feasibility study and basic engineering).

I started teaching English, but eventually I developed and left the company under the position of Pedagogical Coordinator, handling tasks such as HR and training.

I used to work with capital cost estimating for all kinds of construction jobs under the university's responsibility. I reported to a senior architect and a civil engineer there.
