This training focused on epidemiology, survey research, and statistical reporting. 15 health ministers from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia participate in the program per year.Measured international teacher knowledge and attitude through survey and observation during an intensive professional intervention. This program incorporated the assessment analysis with professional adult learning workshops, and was implanted in two schools with 45 teachers and instructional staff.Developed an professional coaching curriculum for TeliaSonera. 15 executives and managers participated over 2 months, and it resulted in more efficient communication between departments and increased insight regarding roles and responsibilities.Led an internal study for PMCG, an economic think tank in Tbilisi, Georgia. The study resulted in formal strategic plans that addressed communication, governance, and fundraising. Continue to oversee the 18-month implementation.Designed a large social accountability intervention in five municipalities in Georgia for the World Bank. This program addresses the vulnerable populations and the delivery of services in rural communities.

Created a funding package that consisted of private and public funding for a large hospital-based diabetes clinic. Developed chronic care services which included tele-health, rapid transition from the emergency department, and proactive case management. Evaluated the protocols for the State of Tennessee.

Reviewed concept papers, providing guidance and direction for further development.Reviewed and recommended funding, funding continuation, supplemental funding, and budget revisions, based on NIH guidelines. Represented NIDA on epidemiologic research matters at interagency meetings with such organizations as the NIH Center for Scientific Review, National Center for Health Statistics, and National Institute of Justice. Served as a consultant to other NIDA branches/divisions on issues related to research methods. Co-administered the Community Epidemiology Work Group contract, which included organizing four national conferences and editing three full reports. Organized and participated on a five-person panel on Monitoring Drug Abuse after Hurricane Katrina.
