The military experience has been priceless to the lessons I learned as a young adult. I was a MP and I was stationed first @ Ft. McClellan AL for basic and AIT. My first duty was Ft. Bragg, NC and I did a state-side swap and transferred myself to Ft. Ritchie, Cascade, MD. During my 14 months at Ft. Bragg, half of my duty I was a member of the Ft. Bragg Boxing Team. There is where I met James "Bonecrusher" Smith as he was preparing for his big fight with Larry Holmes.
