Reporting into the Director of IT I support the DELL EMC world-wide Order- to-Cash Finance organization which is responsible for $25B in annual revenue. Partnering with Senior Executive Leadership, Order Management, Credit & Collections and Corporate IT teams I develop, manage and execute the world-wide Order-to-Cash IT Account Plan and Road map. As the senior IT Business Consultant I Identify impactful IT initiatives and perform analysis and develop business case including - high-level process analysis, vendor selection, approach options, budget and projected ROI. Working with my business and IT organizations I implement these initiatives – manage the budget, create business requirements & project plans, provide status reporting, manage contingencies and assist in user acceptance and go-live planning: Results:• $25M annual increase in free cash flow. I built the business case, led the vendor selection and am co-managing the project to automate web delivery and payment of invoices for EMC customers. The result will be a 2 day reduction in the average collection time.• I drove the conversion/integration of EMC's $25B Collections Management tool from Oracle to SAP. • $250K annual expense savings. I researched, built and championed the business case and overall plan to automate SAP application of cash world-wide through a 3rd party hosted solution.
