Carparts.com is an eCommerce platform for auto care.Managed day-to-day IT operations in a warehouse environment using the JIRA Service Management Ticketing System. Supported computers, printers, and network equipment.Oversee and lead data and fiber cabling for four warehouses installing 50+ wireless access points in each using Motorola, Aruba, and Ruckus AP’s and wireless controllers.Engaged with the network team to install redundant internet connections with failover from one ISP to another for 99.99% network uptime.Installed switches (Force One and Cisco), firewalls (Cisco), UPS’s, along with power distribution units (APC) in MDF \ IDF locations and engaged with the network team to configure. Racked HP servers and managed the installation of redundant power for a data center cooling system.Engaged with contractors to install redundant power for switches, and UPS devices.Oversee and lead office data cabling to install PCs, print devices, VOIP phones, ADP time clocks, and Verkada security camera systems along with card readers and mag locks to limit building entry. Used Visio to design building maps for data cabling for all warehouses indicating device placements and cable routes.Collaborated with HR to define on-boarding and off-boarding policies and processes as well as SOX compliance. Received and processed requests for account provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning.Using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Teams, coordinated with IT teams across six distribution centers to upgrade RF scanner equipment, replacing Windows CE devices with Android devices.Engaged with all IT teams to implement the Körber One Warehouse Management System across the enterprise.Integrated HighJump WMS into the LaSalle Illinois distribution center (previously JC Whitney). Procured end-user equipment for 150+ users, trained the local IT team in configuration and support for end users, and engineered a wireless network infrastructure throughout the warehouse.
