Over the years, I've worn many hats-CEO for two IPOs and led the acquisition for one of those companies of its biggest competitor, SVP Operations of 305 stores, EVP, Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer, SVP, President of the #1 appliance retailer and Independent Director pre-IPO through national success for a $1B retailer. As a result, I've gained an in-depth understanding of how to set the vision and strategy for operations, sales, service, management, & markets to achieve multi-billion-dollar initiatives in both private and public. I believe I've been successful because I bring hands on high energy. I'm a passionate leader that provides leadership through fun and a drive for excellence that is built on years of senior experience that accomplishes results the right way. A few accomplishments I'm proud of include: • In 2020, as CEO, spearheaded IPO to be listed on the NYSE-American, and in 2021, led a $222M acquisition of pure play market leader, and $300M market cap growth from a 2019 $7M market cap of 1847 Goedeker. • In 2024, as CEO, led the successful IPO for CleanCore Solutions to be listed on the NYSE-American• Transformed Circuit City’s $12.4B merchant/supply chain and revitalized a $4.8B-revenue division accounting for 50%+ of company revenue and geographic footprint in 300 locations/20K employees. • Evolved Sears Holding Corp’s home appliance business from $4.2B to $5B and revamped stodgy brand image to nine consecutive quarters of market share gains and renegotiated $3B of strategic sourcing contracts. • As an independent director on the NYSE Lumber Liquidators' board, was a key player for 2007 NYSE IPO and the chain's growth from 85 to 442 stores and $320M to $1.1B in sales. With one other board member, was the longest-tenured director with service on audit, compliance, and nominating and governance committees. • As President of Journey Health & Lifestyle's big ticket, in home sales and installation business, extended its reach from 30 states to 42 and honed a new business model to generate 40% increase in orders. Business was sold to another PE firm in 2021.I am open to professional opportunities where growth and operational excellence are stated objectives. I have geographic flexibility, as is evidenced by my prior work in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Virginia, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Omaha. Business travel to China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Europe were the norm for many years as well.
