A long-time contributor to the global technical community around Microsoft technologies, I have received multiple accolades including the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award. I was an active member of the Atlanta Technical Community, leading the Atlanta .NET User Group for over a decade.Beyond consulting, I am a published author, video instructor, and public speaker. My venture into drone technology, marked by earning an FAA Part 107 Drone License, further fueled my exploration into computer vision and machine learning.Since the release of OpenAI's Chat GPT-3.5, my entire focus has shifted to understanding the use and potential of generative AI. I have over a decade of experience delivering cloud native production systems running on Microsoft Azure and Office 365. I previously worked as the Architecture Lead responsible for EY's Global Tax Platform. The cloud-first architecture consists of distributed serverless microservices, web based micro-client components, and a message-based event-driven integration layer in accord with the tenants described by the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework.
