I had an amazing experience living in Japan. I enjoyed learning about a fascinating culture and meeting extraordinary people. Teaching my students at Hearthside has been very rewarding. Being an outsider in an unfamiliar country has given me invaluable experiences about diversity, cultural sensitivity and language.
