Filmmaker / Entrepreneur / Adventurer. I have had a wide and varied career, largely in media and technology, working all over the world. I have run a range of companies, enjoyed some nice successes and know what it is like to struggle day to day. I produced and / or financed 25 feature films, some of which I wrote, and I have now written quite a few additional screenplays and will be taking them into production. I have been involved in three successful film funds, two under the UK’s tax incentives and one as straight private equity. I owned a restaurant and participated in the world’s first non-invasive tagging of humpback whales. I have been up many mountains, dived with sharks, canoed the Zambezi River and jumped out of airplanes. I am a proven leader who learned what leadership means in combat as a US Marine Corps Logistics Officer. I study and teach Aikido, I am a passionate environmentalist and work with wild animals, I dabble in multi-sport and endurance events, I ride a motorcycle and I have a wide range of outdoor interests and pursuits. I have dual US / UK nationality but consider myself a citizen of the globe.
