Led and/or assisted in numerous projects related to the management and maintenance of a 25,000 square foot Tier II data center: ▪ Extensive knowledge of data center best practices, including cold-aisle containment, return-air plenum, Liebert iCOM controls; airflow management; management of data center power, cooling, and space infrastructure; Fluke thermal imaging of data center equipment and breakers.▪ Assisted with the maintenance and monitoring of the data center environmental equipment including Cummins generators, switchgear, Leibert UPS, PDU, and HVAC units, and Ansul Halon 1301 Fire Suppression system and VESDA early detection system.▪ Compiled readings and designed reports for various environmental metrics, calculating ROI for energy saving projects which cut data center energy costs by 33%+ and decreased operating expenses by hundreds of thousands of dollars; compiled and presented results to senior leadership at regular intervals; collaborated on developing utility rebates from energy efficiency projects, saving the company over $100,000 dollars, in addition to energy savings.▪ Project manager for 8-person team in administration and management of Aperture Vista DCIM suite, maintaining drawings for 19 locations, 110,000 sf of space, and thousands of devices; developed corporate DCIM strategy and roadmap.▪ Project manager for 6-person team in creation, review, and updating of Policy, Best Practices, and Procedures used across I.T.
