Doug Legters is an executive in the New York region. He has dedicated over 25 years in the insurance and financial services industry.In 2008, Doug developed and launched a New York based program that grew to almost $50 Million of in-force premium in eight years. He was also responsible for the leadership and oversight of four package programs for a combined premium of almost $80 Million. From 2005 to 2007, he was Managing Director of a $130 Million book of business, primarily responsible for underwriting operations, distribution and carrier relationships.Doug has held a number of executive and managerial positions in marketing, business development and operations. He got his start in insurance at Marsh where he acquired the taste for success as an integral member of a team that landed a $12 Million annual association client.Doug has held Board of Director positions for the Insurance Brokers Association of New York (IBANY), and the Seraphim League for the Arts and Education in Arlington, VA. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from American University in Washington DC.Doug grew up in Seattle Washington, and now lives just outside of New York City with his wife, two daughters and their Rottweiler . He is an avid fitness buff and enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer teams.
