Assist in the development of the Brazilian Navy's Unmanned Surface Vehicle Laboratory (USV-Lab) and the USV DGS15, testing and implementing different types of hardware and software involving control algorithms, computer vision, sensor integration, and associated mechanisms. Work with ROS2 and MOOS-IvP for robust robotic operating system and autonomous marine vehicle control, respectively.

Rank: Lieutenant Junior Grade.Responsibilities:I) Coordinate the maintenance and repairs of electronic equipment;II) Maintain constant communication with the electronic material repair agencies in order to monitor the progress of repairs;III) Take or request the necessary measures to maintain the stock of electronic spare parts at a level appropriate to the ship's operational conditions, in close coordination with the Supply Division;IV) Coordinate the storage of electronic spare parts;V) Comply with the regulations established for the Brazilian Navy Communications Service;VI) Establish the communication routine to be followed during missions, coordinating the reception of weather forecasts with the execution of communication services as provided in the current publications; andVII) Maintain control of all material necessary for the execution of communication services, replenishing the stock when necessary.
