About Doug Oldfield

I am a self-assured and personable risk professional, with a deep technical understanding of risk and decision analysis techniques across a range of different industries including: oil / gas / energy, aerospace/defence, utilities, finance, construction/engineering, and many more. Equally comfortable in a consulting, teaching or communications role as I am in business development, I regularly delivered training workshops, public webcasts, and conference presentations on behalf of Palisade, makers of the @RISK software.Whilst at Palisade, in addition to the Middle East, I looked after the south of the UK, developing excellent client relationships with a number of large UK FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 organisations. I was also responsible for business expansion into India, Nigeria, and South Africa during my time with Palisade. I co-founded The Ferryfield Group with the ex-MD of Palisade, Craig Ferri, to provide organisations with specialised risk recruitment, consulting/training, and software advisory services in the fields of risk management, risk analysis, and decision analysis.
