Doug is the partner in charge of the San Francisco and Carlsbad offices and a member of Withum's Board of Directors. He has over 25 years of experience serving small-to-mid-sized public and private companies in the fields of life science, technology, consumer products, and professional services. He specializes in financial statement audits, audits of internal control over financial reporting, consulting on internal control over financial reporting (SOX) and comfort letters for equity and debt offerings. Prior to joining the Firm, Doug spent 24 years at the firm OUM, which joined with Withum in July 2021.Doug received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from California State University, East Bay and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Hayward. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), California Life Sciences Association (CLSA) and a frequent presenter on SEC developments, initial public offerings, and audit and accounting technical developments.
