For over a decade I worked in sales and marketing representing some of the best known brands on the planet. In those positions I learned that branding is vital to the success of any company. In addition, I honed my analytic skills, and developed sales and marketing techniques.For the past two years I have been in graduate school at the University of Texas, Arlington's School of Urban and Public Affairs studying for my degree in City and Regional Planning, or more specifically, Green Cities and Transportation.The school has opened up a wealth of opportunities for me. As a research assistant I researched the latest technologies available to planners that allow them to model and communicate almost instantaneously with the public and other professionals. For my project studio I was a member of a small team that wrote the comprehensive plan for the city of Bruceville-Eddy. For my GIS project studio I partnered with another student and we mined, extrapolated and mapped ridership data used by Ft. Worth's "T".
