In my roles as an advisor or board member, I leverage 14 years of US and EMEA executive leadership at Starbucks, as well as my public and private CEO roles, to help omni-channel companies solve problems, develop strategy and foster innovation. In my role as a CEO of several global lifestyle brands, I specialized in high revenue growth, profit achievement, talent development and operational execution. I apply 25+ years of proven experience to transform companies across Consumer, Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness and Food Tech industries. • Sales & Profit: Led the turnaround of Starbuck’s previously unprofitable $1.4B EMEA business trading in over 35 countries resulting in 2 consecutive years of profit with over 10X growth. The only global Starbucks business unit to have 7 consecutive quarters of sales and margin growth over prior year. Led XpresSpa Group to record $73M Rev and first ever profitable year in 2021 after turnaround from $8M Rev in 2020 and $48M Rev in 2019. • Innovation: Led Starbucks teams breaking new ground: 1st SBUX on a cruise ship, 1st “ski in/ ski out” SBUX, 1st SBUX on a train and 1st SBUX inside Disney. Within XpresSpa Group, created and launched an omni-channel, lifestyle healthcare company, TREAT in 2021, fueling an emerging sub-segment “travel, health and wellness” and earning the 2021 Retail Design Institute’s International Store of the Year. • Business Transformation: Led the integration of 3 Starbucks business units into a single, highly profitable billion dollar US organization. Met or exceeded all AOP metrics during the year of transition with significant improvements in employee and customer engagement scores. Led XpresSpa Group’s pivot from airport spas to largest US airport COVID testing business, XpresCheck in 2020, staving off bankruptcy and raising +$100M during the height of the pandemic.
