Whether for my own projects or select clients, I like to think I specialize in franchise asset development and foundation building in the sports and entertainment industries (i.e. providing strategic guidance and intros with a concentration on brokering effective funding, marketing, production and operational solutions).The unique experience and acumen gleaned from having worked on all sides, including both Labor and Management, coupled with having participated in companies at virtually every hierarchical level, regardless of shape and size, both public and private, has been a driver for me. I am resigned to the fact that I am a GENERALIST in almost every sense of the word, having launched, invested in, diligenced, acquired, sold, advised, consulted and operated companies cross genre, spectrum, medium and platform. Coming off a 4-year stint as COO for LiveXLive (NASDAQ: LIVO), I have focused on diversifying my interests, including serving as Chief Advisor to Baron Davis Enterprises, while continuing to serve on the Board of Hero Ventures, producers of The Marvel Experience. Since 2020, I’ve also served as a Director to SPAC, Bull Horn Holdings, in addition to investing in, and/or advising several startups, some leveraging my direct experience, and some for personal growth :).However, virtually everything I have achieved to date can be directly attributed to the relationships I’ve built over the course of the past 25+ years within the space. The bizarre assortment of projects spanning multiple verticals and continents have afforded me the unique opportunity to cross paths in atypical ways with a distinct grouping of industry leaders, both the talent and influencers themselves as well as those who make them go.Most recently, I’ve become a lightning rod for early stage companies in some of the aforementioned genres...NJ native. Received a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University in CT. 4-year varsity letterman and 2-year basketball team captain. Following graduation, played & coached pro basketball overseas.In 1998, became a certified player agent with the MLBPA, received law degree from the USC Gould School of Law and became a member of the California Bar.
