He knew our existing platforms, their pros and cons. He had detailed workflows ready for the shopping adventure, documents independent of any platform so that we could think objectively about hew options. He joined me, acting as the procurement lead, on many calls with multiple sales teams, acting as the voice of our business. Once we settled on an option, he was vital to our legal and infosec reviews. He then became the operational lead for the new platform.
