I was cast as a principal actor on season 2 episode 1 of the Emmy Award-winning ABC show American Crime directed by Academy Award-winning director John Ridley. I played the head coach of the visiting team opposite series regular Timothy Hutton as the head coach of the home team. This was my first speaking role on a national television show and I earned SAG-AFTRA eligibility with this role.

Overall technical responsibility for the design, fabrication, integration and installation of custom automated test equipment. Responsibilities included basis of estimate, material / labor costing, proposal generation based on end customer requirements, detailed hardware, software, mechanical, and RF design, setting and managing technical objectives, identifying and managing technical, monetary, and schedule risks, supervising engineering and manufacturing teams, and interfacing directly with customers. Projects included:• Iridium NEXT Satellite test systems for RF payload testing to 30 GHz including standard RF tests, telemetry tests, and timing tests. Development, Integration, and Test of multiple types and quantities of RF test equipment for use in the Integration, Assembly, and Test of the Iridium NEXT satellite constellation• Depot RF Test System for the Saudi SRAF Tornado Aircraft• AAI WaveCore Panel / Payload Test System. AAI developed platform for testing satellite panels and/or payloads to 40 GHz• RF and electronic test systems for testing of high voltage power supply, RF, and digital SRAs for military Electronic Warfare and Electronic Countermeasure systems.• Guided Missile Components Test Station used for depot support of the Minuteman II and Minuteman III missiles, and Minuteman Weapon System WS-133. • Ground support unit for the testing and troubleshooting of F16 on aircraft data acquisition and telemetry systems including 2GHz RF air-to-ground telemetry interface.• Quad band up-converter / down-converter test system for design testing of L3 Narda products at 30+ GHz• Missile support test station used to test production level Trident II missile electronic assemblies while installed in the missile.• LMStar power augmentation rack used to test F22 power systems.• Integrated system test environment used to test locomotive components and provide hardware-in-the-loop capability for full locomotive system simulation.

Worked as a featured Patriot soldier on the NBC television show Revolution filmed in the Austin, TX area.

Responsible for the interpretation and implementation of high-level design specifications for custom automated test equipment. Leadership of multiperson teams responsible for the design, development, and integration of ATE systems. Developed complete ATE software solutions in both Visual Basic and C, programmed test equipment via GPIB, PXI, VXI, RS-232, and LAN interfaces, and designed printed circuit boards. Developed algorithms for RF testing and calibration. Interfaced extensively with customers for both specification definition and post-delivery training. Integrated and supported systems at customer sites (including international deliveries). Projects included:• MILES XXI Vest, Headband & Belt Automated Test System and XXI Small Arms Transmitter Test System used to test military “laser tag” systems.• Bus Control Unit (BCU) and Secondary Interface Unit (SIU) Test Console used in the hardware acceptance testing of the SIU and BCU box assembly for “black” satellite programs.• SHOCKSystem control system for a pulse-detonated jet engine used in the cleaning process for coal fired electrical generator plants.• Power Amplifier Module (PAM) and Beam Forming Module (BFM) tester used in the testing of commercial satellite components in a phased-array antenna.
