Enterprise software doesn't have to be stale, boring, and clunky. At ServiceMax, I oversee a team of 6 designers who are advancing the state of the art in enterprise applications by delivering UX that's usable, scalable, practical, consistent, and beautiful. Starting from scratch a few years ago, I created the UX organization, recruited and hired the team, set UI standards and initiated customer outreach efforts.Today, we've implemented 2 design systems and are developing a 3rd. We've changed the culture in our organization to take a "design-first" approach to application development. We've used design thinking to improve overall product quality. We've adopted a components-based approach that's increased development velocity. We've created programs that keep us engaged wich users, customers, and partners on a regular cadence in support of our UX research. And we've delivered on our commitments release after release. With over a decade in Product Management and UX, I'm uniquely qualified to lead UX design for an enterprise software company. I understand the goals, operations, and metrics of a SAAS business. I have a strong technical aptitude. And I know how to create designs and manage the design process so that the mockups and prototypes aren't just beautiful and elegant, but highly usable and implementable.
