The over arching aim is to provide a balanced perspective of the United Kingdom and its startup ecosystems.Tech Britain also includes interviews with members of the tech community in order to humanize the community, gather advice for new start-ups/people considering a start-up, thoughts from the community as to their cluster and what the government can be doing to help the tech community. Tech Britain started with an 11 week tour across the UK interviewing recommended members of the tech community from web and mobile disciplines. The initial Tech Britain tour included and involved visits to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Newry, Derry, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Bath, Bristol, London and Manchester, where a whole cross section of the local tech community were interviewed. Manned security guarding for the construction industrySuccessfully negotiated a £75,000 manned guarding security contract for a development of 16 apartments in Eccles, Salford.Staffing issues experience led to working the building site myself 7 days a week, 6pm-6am and attending to the photography and Mobile technology start-up business in the daytime.A great experience in cash flow management, and many other business basics from advertising budgets, marketing and sales strategies to paperwork required for legislator bodies.
