As a senior TAM Dov is responsible for managing the VMware portfolio with several large customers. These customers are heavily invested in VMware products and require guidance or assistance with getting all products set up and running. As well Dov manages the relationship from a managerial aspect. This may require hands-on-sysadmin work or project management of a large project. Dov acts as an advocate for his customers, helping them navigate their journey to become cloud ready and align to their future vision.

Design and develop architecture solutions; and install, configure and support various hardware platforms, operating systems and application environments. Prepare and deliver technical product and architecture solutions at the CIO level. Develop technical solutions to customer business issues, including identifying new technologies and/or solutions.

Instrumental contributor to start-up operations as the key technology strategist for this early-stage incubator for product prototypes, Dov plays a critical role in technology evaluation and selection, in addition to leading the end-to-end planning and development of a cloud-based infrastructure for back-end storage and documentation. Managed the strategic deployment of cloud-based solution to support back-end storage, back up, and documentation functions with integrated content management, eCommerce, and eLearning functions. Used eCommerce and eLearning solutions alongside a Wordpress-based website, video LMS content on demand, and a RACKSPACE cloud files based content distribution network for video hosting with VoIP accessibility, video conferencing, web casting, and high-quality HD streaming to globally dispersed counterparts.

Promoted to lead an end-to-end VMware-based enterprise infrastructure development and implementation, while continuously evaluating network performance. Stepped up to add value by advising on and implementing key changes, in addition to leading the design of test and disaster recovery plans, as well as the evaluation of data recovery products for recommended usages. Led design of a new virtualized environment to replace the existing system, leading the planning, training, and documentation in support of virtualization.

Seconded to a temporary management position with a mandate to oversee a six-member team while maintaining business performance. Stepped up to transform the IT department’s service culture, working to improve relations and reduce response time by creating a comprehensive SLA for internal stakeholders. Evaluated and defined departmental priorities, and put in place improved resource management strategies, procurement practices, and vendor relations frameworks.

Hired as a co-op student and retained to deliver fast, reliable, and accurate support to all members of the organization, playing a pivotal role in troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and configuration-related problems for professional users
