Born and raised in the Netherlands, Dov emigrated to Israel at age 20. He has been involved in the Israeli travel industry since 1984, firstly as a tour operator for several decades, and then as a marketing, PR, and storytelling professional for global tourism brands in Israel. Dov is the founder, chairman, and chief storyteller of Terranova Tourism Marketing & Consultancy. Imri, Dov's son, is the recently nominated CEO. Imri is supported by a team of 20 experts and account managers. One of the main focus points of Dov is to establish branches of Terranova in potential-growth source markets. The first branch opened in 2023 is based in Budapest, in charge of Hungary, Rumania, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia. More offices will be opened in 2024. Since 2001, Dov represents the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Israel.
