I have worked at my family's restaurant, Village Inn, since I was 12 years old. In this role I have served in many positions, starting as a host and becoming a waiter, cook, and assisting in managerial duties. This experience placed a heavy emphasis on forging personal relationships with both customers and the community as a whole, and required 'grit' especially during COVID hardships.
