With over a decade in the entertainment industry, a formal education in Construction Management, and 5 years experience in construction, the transition to Project Engineer at Bryan Construction Inc. has been a natural progression towards Project Management. I am currently working as a Project Engineer for Bryan Construction, the General Contractor on the Formal Training Unit project, where I am apart of the Quality Control team. The project itself is a $65 million, state-of-the-art facility, which is a 93,270 -square-foot, two-story facility which will centralize aircraft maintenance and operations in one building. I am responsible for recording daily progress, site labor and equipment use within RMS, reviewing, submitting, and distributing submittals and RFIs, and supporting the QCM, Superintendent, SSHO, and Project Manager with both office and field work. As a Production Manager in the Entertainment industry, I have executed hundreds of events, from Broadway shows and concerts to high end corporate events. I was involved in every step of the process, including contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and and ultimately responsible for mobilization of crews and equipment. I have successfully executed events that ranged from multi-day festivals, to single day concerts that required crews of over a hundred stagehands and riggers.My formal education and training started with a degree in Engineering Technologies, which provided certificates in Management, Lean Concepts, Construction Technology, and Industrial Leadership and Management. I have further added various technical certifications, including the US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for contractors certificate. I am dedicated to continuous improvement, and am always pursuing additional knowledge.
