Responsible for the financial stewardship of Westpac's global footprint (ex New Zealand). Responsibilities included: stakeholder management, business advisory and partnering across three principal global businesses plus the Treasury function for the Westpac group.

Responsible for the daily oversight and regional strategic alignment with global strategy for the RBC Corporate and Investment Bank across the Asia Pacific region (with a presence in Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Japan, China and India - coverage of Taiwan & Korea).A close business partner of the Regional CEO, global business line leaders, regional business line leaders and global function leaders e.g Chief Compliance, Risk, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations Officers; leader of new product and business development; business transformation; resource optimisation; risk management; data analytics and multi-discipline, cross border teams of people.

Responsible for the financial stewardship for the RBCCM businesses throughout APAC.Re-aligned business strategy to focus on growth opportunities in Asia. Established a bank in Hong Kong to promote profitable growth.Built revenue streams via product launches, creation of new business lines and entering new markets. Disciplined cost containment; creation of centres of excellence, offshoring and outsourcing where appropriate.Leader of diversity, talent attraction, development and retention.

Built 'best in class' framework to support business growth; system implementations; people development; outsourcing where scale or complexity dictated.

Directed by the Group Operations Director to lead and manage teams in London and the Channel islands in a myriad of challenging initiatives to secure pathways to resolution for problematic events.

Followed classic big four route to accountancy qualification. Managed an extensive portfolio of clients and gained international exposure to a wide range of sectors.
