I used to have a lot of old, albeit interesting stuff in this box. I realized that it really didn't explain what it is that I do.I make things.A long time ago, that was code. Operating systems. Applications. Things from before the Internet was commercial.Then it became networks. Networks of computers. Networking people together to form communities. Providing the connections they needed to be successful, to be entertained.Then it became web applications and the incredible versatility that "the Cloud" brought to the world.Now, I make teams.

Developed significant portions of a JavaScript library used to communicate with devices, developed many of the scripts used by customers and third-party devices. Participated in the Agile development model.• Built out SaaS infrastructure using Amazon EC2 in Europe, including high-performance MySQL and MongoDB. Has also evaluated other cloud providers, and is experienced with VMware ESXi.• Responsible for maintaining legacy infrastructure and architecting new infrastructure for the datacenter SaaS hosting environment, using Ubuntu/RHEL 5.x/CentOS 6.x, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and many other technologies. Responsible for developing and standardizing deployment methodologies for the product and it’s application platform. Also responsible for installations and upgrades of customer deployments, as well as tier 3+ customer support.• Responsible for the internal and external networking infrastructure, including Cisco routers, Cisco PIX firewalls, Dell switches, and VPN connections.
