I am a legal practitioner with a passion to advocate for environmental rights and climate justice.I have committed myself to actualizing the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) agenda launched in 2021 as a roadmap for learners to develop knowledge and transform societies sustainably at the UNESCO's World Conference on ESD. I was engaged by Chatham House UK (under the auspice of Common Futures Conversation) in a project towards deliberations on the 26th Conference of Parties (COP 26) where I spoke to about fifty youth and stakeholders on youth's perspective to climate change. I also inaugurated student-led clubs tagged "Green Champions" (to enable students thrive on future sustainable development projects) at two school outreaches where I educated about a thousand students on environmental sustainability. As an advocator in Bonafide Advocators' Initiative, I created a digital story to educate juveniles at the Correctional Centre on "Ecosystem Restoration" (the video link is available at https://thebonafideadvocatorinitiative.com/the-trials-of-brendalin/). I volunteer with Stories of Home (NGO) to execute projects for underprivileged or disadvantaged communities in Africa. I coordinate the Stories and Podcast unit arm of the NGO and serve as a host on 'The SOH Hope Podcast'.My contributions have been deservingly recognized by reputable organisations in Africa. Out of a pool of 1050 applications across 27 African countries, I was selected among the 70 successful applicants for the Climate Education Leader's Fellowship by EcoChampions. I was also awarded a leadership scholarship by LEAP Leadership Institute for the Positive Youth Development certificate course.In addition to my career focus, I am a video editor, guitarist/singer and bead maker.
