About Doyle Groves
With over 25 years of experience in R&D, innovation, product development, data strategy, and entrepreneurship, I am currently a Staff Data Scientist at Proofpoint. I apply my skills and knowledge in applied mathematics, design, natural language processing, machine learning, and graph modeling to solve complex problems and deliver value to customers. I am active in building context embeddings and LLM applications and leveraging the new AI tools at scale. My passion is to discover new methods and techniques for knowledge discovery and predictive modeling from very large data sets, particularly in information security and social media data. I use computational intelligence approaches inspired by nature, such as particle swarms, clustering / classification, genetic algorithms, neural networks, and evolutionary computing, to uncover insights and patterns that can improve the world. I have co-authored multiple publications and patents in these fields, and I collaborate with other researchers and practitioners across disciplines and domains.
