I’m Divya Pandya, Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Energy & Thermo-fluids) from Michigan Tech specializing in liquid cooling. My focus is on studying phase change and two-phase flows, specifically examining pool boiling and partial flow boiling, with the guidance of renowned flow boiling and condensation expert, Dr. Amitabh Narain. My doctoral research is focused on the experimental investigation of a combined active and passive micro-nucleation enhancement approach for high heat-flux flow-boiling operation – enabling applications such as Next Generation Heat Sink for Electronic Chip Cooling Systems. I resort to hard work and concentrated effort to achieve my goals. Such dedication was put into each and every one of my projects and they have always borne results. I have spent hours, days, and even years delving into topics within Thermal Science that have not been necessarily from my course work. I am now highly motivated to take the next step in my evolution as a contributing professional within Mechanical Engineering. I am confident that the research, combined with my training, which will lay a solid foundation for my goal of becoming a successful system-level research engineer and moving on to become a valuable research engineering manager. I have experience as Graduate Resear & Teaching Assitant at MTU and PDPU. I received Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assitant Award for the role of GTA in ME-EM from Graduate School at Michigan Tech on May 2020. Also, received a recognition certificate for Highest Teaching Student Evaluation University-wide from Provost & ME-EM Department Chair on December 2019. I have been one of the most active participants in college for both curricular and extracurricular activities. I received Nomination Certificate for Exceptional Leadership in Student Governance for the position of Secretary, Graduate Student Government at Michigan Tech. & Exceptional Enthusiasm as Student Leader for the different leadership positions at Michigan Tech registered student organizations in April 2022.My attributes and technical skills are leadership & management, planning & execution, analytical & critical thinking, LabView graphical programming, MATLAB numerical control techniques, Computer-Aided Design, Finite-Element Analysis, problem-solving, teaching & mentoring, orientation facilitator, and documentation.
