In 2010 my title changed slightly to more accurately reflect my role in TELUS. The role included sourcing Managed overall design and delivery of Digital Media products, and led a specialist technical team. Delivered customer facing pre-sales support, and prepared requests for proposals (RFP) and proposal responses. Researched and evaluated digital signage hardware and software platforms, in addition to managing resources and vendors. - Implemented SportChek Retail Lab store project in early 2014 by vetting hardware and managing on-site installation of digital signage hardware and software, working with customer and dedicated technical teams/contractors, to test and validate a very complex media implementation with over 80 displays in a relatively small retail space before a media event deadline.- Managed vendor installation of custom interactive digital signage pilot projects for the LCBO, resulting in successful high-visibility installation at LCBO head offices.- Provided RFP content and demonstrations of the TELUS digital signage solution to Dynacare medical laboratories, resulting in a 5-year contract award to implement and support digital signage to over 100 medical offices nationally.- Completed Appspace Certified Engineer course, becoming only the second person with ACE certification in Canada at that time.and evaluating digital signage hardware and software platforms, managing resources and vendors, attending training sessions for various platforms and developing scoring criteria for ranking solutions to opportunity scope. Key accomplishments include the Sport Chek Retail Lab store project in early 2014.

I configured and supported the Macintosh desktop systems, servers and printers for Impact, including the LinoType Imagesetter. I gained much insight into design, support and a love of collecting type faces that I still hold to this day.
