For more info see: debbipedreschi.wixsite.com/debbipedreschiI am an Experienced Post-doctoral Researcher working in the Ecosystem-based Fisheries Management Team in the Marine Institute, Ireland. My work primarily focuses on integrated assessment and understanding of marine socio-ecological systems, with a particular focus on the Celtic Seas ecoregion. I am also the Steering Group Chair for Integrated Ecosystem Assessment groups at ICES (https://www.ices.dk/community/groups/Pages/IEASG.aspx). I am a Work Package and Case Study Lead with the #MissionAtlantic project, and a Work Package Lead in #OceanICU. I also collaborate on #GES4SEAS, #SeaWISE and #MarinePlan. My work has a focus on semi-quantitative risk assessment, integrated understanding, ecosystem-based management, and moving towards socio-ecological assessments. I love working with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to identify applied problems, and develop real-world solutions.My interests center around using multidisciplinary approaches to gain a better understanding of ecological pressures and interactions, and the complexity of socio-ecological systems.
